Why Auto MM Exists
The peer-to-peer digital goods market is enormous — and it's built on fragile trust. A username, a Discord DM, and a prayer. Auto MM was created to change that. We built a platform where reputation is verifiable, trades are structured, and middlemen are held to a published standard — not just a reputation thread on a forum.
The Problem
In 2022, our founding team collectively lost over $4,000 to scams and middlemen who disappeared. Every fraud followed the same pattern: no audit trail, no accountability, no recourse. The community had self-policing systems but no infrastructure to back them up.
The Solution
Auto MM provides a neutral, structured environment where trades are ticketed, progress is logged, and reputation is earned through documented results — not forum vouches. Every middleman is manually reviewed before certification. Every transaction has a paper trail.

Q1 2022
The Founding Idea
After a string of bad trades, the founding team begins documenting patterns of fraud in digital goods markets. The concept for Auto MM takes shape.
Q3 2022
Platform Alpha
First private build launched with 8 manually certified middlemen. First 100 trades conducted. Zero disputes in the initial cohort.
Q1 2023
Public Launch
Auto MM opens public registration. 40 middlemen certified in the first month. First $1M in trade volume processed within 60 days.
Q4 2023
Reputation System v2
Major overhaul of the reputation system. All reviews now require a corresponding closed ticket. Anonymous reviews removed entirely.
Q2 2024
$10M Volume Milestone
Auto MM surpasses $10M in cumulative trade volume. 200+ certified middlemen across 30+ countries. Admin team expands to 6 full-time members.

Today
$61.8M in cumulative volume. 312 certified middlemen. 22,410 completed trades. 99.7% success rate. The work continues.
