The Trade Process
Every trade on Auto MM follows the same structured process — no matter the item type, value, or platform. This consistency is what makes Auto MM reliable.
Step One
Create Your Account
Registration takes under a minute. Choose a username, set a password, and select your primary trade type. No email required. Your profile is live immediately — your reputation score starts at zero and builds through real transactions.
Step Two
Browse & Choose a Middleman
Visit the Middlemen board. Filter by trade type, tier, or availability. Every middleman's profile shows their complete reputation history, average response time, completed trade count, and specializations. Select the middleman who matches your trade type and timeline.
💡 For high-value trades ($500+), we recommend Elite-tier middlemen with 500+ completed trades and a reputation score above 95%.
Step Three
Open a Ticket
Click "Open Ticket" on the middleman's profile. Fill in what you're offering, what you're receiving, your trade partner's username, and any special instructions. The ticket is created immediately and the middleman is notified. Both parties receive a ticket ID for tracking.
Step Four
Verification Phase
The middleman contacts both parties and begins verification. This includes: confirming item details and condition, checking for trade holds, ban histories, or account restrictions, verifying both parties are who they claim to be, and confirming both sides agree to the exact terms. Nothing moves during this phase.
⏱ Most middlemen complete verification within 5–15 minutes. Complex trades (multi-item bundles, cross-platform accounts) may take longer.
Step Five
The Exchange
Once verification is complete and both parties confirm, the middleman coordinates the actual exchange. They receive or oversee the transfer of items from Party A, verify receipt, and release or coordinate the transfer to Party B. Every action is logged in the ticket. Items only move when the middleman explicitly confirms the step is clear.
Step Six
Completion & Reputation
Once both parties confirm they've received what was agreed, the ticket is marked complete. The trade is added to the middleman's verified trade count. Both parties can then leave reputation feedback. Positive or negative, feedback is tied permanently to the ticket record and cannot be anonymous or fabricated.
